Founder & Senior Piercer
Chari is a free-hand, intentional, ceremonial piercer with over 26 years of experience. Piercing professionally since 1999, she managed Custom Body Art in Medford Oregon for a decade. She furthered her studies by attending the Fakir Piercing Intensives, completing basic and advanced courses. Fakir Musafar is a dear friend and considered to be the Father of the Modern Primitive Movement, known worldwide for their 50+ years of research and personal exploration of body modification.
It was during her experience there she received the inspiration to open Ritual Evolution in 2008. "For many, there can be deep transformations made through body piercings. I wanted a safe container to hold our experiences through these ancient and continuing traditions." We’ve got 18 years in Ashland and our downtown location is still growing.
